Hilary Pinder the facilitator was a Director of The Psychosynthesis & Education Trust, is a studetn and practitioner of Huber Astrology, and a keen and interested co-worker in the field of unfolding group psychology that bears testament to the fact that we are all holons having a unique partness and wholeness.
It has been said that astrology is destined to take its place in the future as one of the major sciences, and that then full use will be made of the planetary influences and the cyclic energies emanating from the constellations. This will enable the control of the personality to be scientifically carried forward.

In this workshop there will be an opportunity to explore some of the features of Huber Astrology with Hilary Pinder. Huber Astrology is a reworking of traditional astrological symbolisms which can give us access to our past, present and future-in-potential. This can be used on both an individual and a group basis. An understanding of the direction and potential that is portrayed in the pattern of the natal, house and nodal charts offer both awareness and choice.

3 Day Workshop Monday 11 - Wednesday 13 October 2010Facilitated by Honor Griffith
We live in a world of such rapid change that it sometimes feels as if the very societal foundations which used to provide meaning are eroding from under us as we look helplessly on. This is particularly true for those of us who are older. On a personal level, there is a sense that we no longer have a place, and because we are unsure of our footing, we often feel irrelevant, or unqualified to critique the mores of our time.
Far more is at stake, however, than our individual struggles with loss of meaning. As a society, particularly in the West, the myths which used to sustain us are crumbling - even the myth of science. As a species, however, we humans cannot survive, let alone thrive, without a sustaining story which connects us to the transcendent and ensures us a place in the universe.
This is particularly true as we age. There is an archetypal need to individuate and make meaning of our lives. However, because we have been fated to live in a time when we are between myths, how we live our individual lives, whatever our age, profoundly affects our societal transition as well. Far from being irrelevant or sidelined, in choosing to awaken to the individual fate into which we have been born, we provide 'eldership' to the collective as we journey together towards the birthing of the new myth.
We will use discussion, active imagination, drawing, dream and journal work to:
Explore how discoveries from the quantum world of physics and insights from the ancient wisdom traditions can together help us to reconnect with the transcendent
Identify the family, intergenerational, and cultural fields which may be interfering with the full emergence of our creativity
Help bring all aspects of our being into harmony with ourselves and our planet
Align the energies of our transcendent nature more fully with the 'information' fields in which we are immersed
Birth the stories which make meaning of our personal and collective lives.
