The theme of the event was dedicated to cultivating an awareness and sensitivity that enables us, both as individuals and as a group, to strive towards working with supreme sythesis as an act of planetary service
In these present times we are aware that intelligence and love are not enough and that they must be supplemented by Will. Will that is resonant with active intelligent purpose lovingly applied. For today will is required as an invoking agent and directing force to develop the greater clarity and purification needed for the building of the new civilisation.
Roberto Assagioli, in his book 'The Act of Will', informs us: 'Universal life itself appears to us as a struggle between multiplicity and unity - a labour and an aspiration towards union. We seem to sense that - whether we conceive it as a divine being or as cosmic energy - the Spirit working upon and within all creation is shaping it into order, harmony, and beauty uniting all beings (some willing but the majority as yet blind and rebellious) with each other through links of love being achieved slowly and silently, but powerfully and irresistibly - the Supreme Synthesis.
